Brief Profile
Mr. Mohammed Ahmed Raza, is Assistant Professor of Religious Studies at Department of Religious Studies, Central University of Kashmir. Before joining Central University of Kashmir, he served as a Guest Teacher in school of Directorate of Education, GNCT, New Delhi. Mr Raza maintains an active role to sensitise common people towards environmental degradation that is threatening life on earth. In association with Tantra Foundation, New Delhi he has planned to initiate the faith based conservation programs and to engage the leaders of religious institutions and communities to raise awareness and to promote an understanding of inclusive ethical vision. He was Junior Research Fellow in Centre for Comparative Religions and Civilizations, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi and worked in the same institution as Senior Research Fellow for one year. He serves as a member in Centre for Indic and Agamic Stuies in Asia (CIASA) and also serves on the editorial board of the biannual Islamic Magazine ‘Al-Hadi’ Birat Nagar (Nepal). He holds an M.A and M.Phil. in Comparative Religion and B.Ed. from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi and M.A. in English from Maulana Azad National Urdu University, Hyderabad.
