Ms Gulafroz Jan is working as Assistant Professor in the Department since 2011. She has done Bachelors in Sciences from Govt. College for Women, Nawakadal, Srinagar and completed her LL.B and LL.M (gold medalist) from Faculty of Law, University of Kashmir. She qualified UGC NET in December 2005 and started her career as Lecturer from Kashmir Law College, Srinagar in 2006. From 2007 to 2011, she worked as Assistant Professor (Contractual) in the Faculty of Law at the University of Kashmir. She has participated in many national and international conferences and workshops. Following her interest in commercial laws, women and law, and taxation laws, she has published 12 research papers in national and international law journals. She is also a life member of reputed societies and associations.
