Shabir Ahmad Ahanger is working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics, Central University of Kashmir since 2013. Before joining Central University of Kashmir he was an Assistant Professor in Mathematics at Islamic University of Sccience and Technology Awantipora. He has  also taught at PG Department of Mathematics Government Degree College Baramulla and University of Kashmir. Shabir Ahmad Ahanger holds a Masters in Mathematics from University of Kashmir. He also Qualified CSIR-NET in Mathematical Sciences in 2008. His areas of interest include Functional Analysis and Algebra.
