Ghulam Mohammad Sofi is working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics, Central University of Kashmir since 2012. Before joining Central University of Kashmir He was an Assistant Professor in Mathematics at Islamia College of Science and Commerce the only CPE college in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. He has  also taught at PG Department of Mathematics Government Degree College Baramulla. Ghulam Mohammad Sofi holds an M.Phil. in Mathematics from University of Kashmir. He also Qualified CSIR-NET in Mathematical Sciences in 2008. His areas of interest include Functional Analysis, Complex Analysis and Geometry.
