EEW at a Glance

EEW at a Glance
To achieve world class university status we are requried to intensify our efforts towards all-round development of our Institution. There is a need to have a perfect and robostic system on Examination in place, which is responsive to the requirements in this global era of education. The Examination & Evaluation Wing (EEW), therefore, is the backbone and enjoys a pivotal position in the University system. The entire work of examinations is being governed by different provisions of the Central Universities Act, 2010, Statutes, Ordininances and rules and Regulations made therein by the academic bodies forming part of education governance in the University. 
The EEW is mainly dealing with the question paper setting and appointment of paper setters, Examiners, Moderators. Appointment of senior supervisors, preparation and publication of schedule of examinations, conduct of examinations, evaluation performance of the candidates at the examinations properly assessed and timely declaration of results and awarding degrees, diplomas and certificates. For the purpose of simplification, smooh and easy functioning, the work of EEW is divided into variety of activities on functional basis:

  • General Processing Unit (GPU)

B.    Examination Confidential Division

C.    Examination Tabulation Division

  • Result Compilation Unit (RCU)
  • Result Validation Unit (RVU)
  • Publication & Certification Unit (PCU)
