The Department of Commerce offers two-year full time M.COM Programme. The course structure of the programme is spread over four semesters with 24 credits in each semester aggregating to 96 credits. The course is embedded upon core and elective courses along with two specializations namely Accounting and Finance and Entrepreneurship Development besides the ability enhancement and skill cantered subjects. The two specialisations welded with course are offered from third and fourth semester with the focus to help students to acquire adequate professional competence in these two domains. Accordingly, the main objective of the programme is to produce competent degree holders who are well fit to the existing and emerging needs and requirements of business and industry. Based on this discourse, the programme is expected to yield the following outcomes:

Our pass outs / degree holders will be possessing adequate conceptual and fundamental knowledge about all the core and elective courses.
Programme outcome No :2
The pass outs of the programme will be professionally competent in Accounting and Finance and Entrepreneurship Development. This would enable them to become easily employable and provide professional service to corporate sector and other business entities as trained leaders, learned managers, financial analysts and advisors, risk evaluators and analysts, tax advisors and consultants , budding entrepreneurs, business start ups and innovators of business remodelling.
