Department of the Kashmiri Central University of Kashmir Ganderbal has mourned the demise of Dr Aziz Hajini.  

Department of the Kashmiri, Central University of Kashmir, Ganderbal has mourned the demise of Dr Aziz Hajini, and a condolence meeting was held on the 14th of September 2021. The meeting was chaired by Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Central University of Kashmir Ganderbal Prof. Mehraj Ud Din Mir. The meeting was attended by Registrar Central University of Kashmir, Ganderbal Prof. Muhammad Afzal Zargar, Coordinator Department of Kashmiri Dr Irfan Aalam and Faculty of the Department of the Kashmiri Dr Nazar Ali Nazar and Dr Syed Samreena Geelani. In His Condolence message, Prof. Mehraj ud din Mir extended deep sympathy and shared in the grief of the bereaved family as he hailed the contribution of Dr Aziz Hajini. He further said that throughout his life, Dr Aziz Hajini wore multiple hats. He dedicated his entire life to literary and scholarly pursuits; Dr Hajni made strenuous efforts to open the Kashmiri Department in the Central University of Kashmir. Registrar Central University of Kashmir Ganderbal Prof. Muhammad Afzal Zargar stated that we are with the bereaved family in this sorrowful time. As the contribution of Dr Aziz Hajini will be written with golden letters as he was a life of service, love, compassion and excellence. He spent all his life for the abetment of the Kashmiri Language. Coordinator Department of Kashmiri Dr Irfan Aalam also extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family. In his message, he stated that Dr Aziz Hajini Sahab was a towering personality and prominent literary figure who carved a niche for himself through his contribution and compassion towards the Kashmiri language and literature. Faculty members of the Department also extended sympathy and shared in the grief of the bereaved family. May Almighty Allah grant him the highest place in Jannah and comfort his loved ones.
