Future Plans

1.  We will place emphasis to cultivate individuals capable to make contribution to many fields of social life, all while upholding “academic freedom” supported by high ethical standards .

2.   We will advance education and research that involves colleges, faculties, universities and centers working in tackling new fields of academic endeavor. For this purpose, we will adopt flexible approaches to reorganization, amalgamation and establishment of new organization within the University.

3.  The department of Kashmiri is planning to open an Integrated B.A and M.A Course in Kashmiri at the earliest for the benefit of all the students.

4.  The department shall continue its duty of imparting education through its M.A Courses in Kashmiri and shall promote research activities through the M.Phil and PhD in the said subject.

5.   The Department of Kashmiri will promote research culture among faculty and students and will go for publication of Research Journal of the said department.
