Students apprised of Young India Fellowship
Mr. Karan Bhola, Marketing Manager of Young India Fellowship, Ashoka University today interacted with the students of Central University of Kashmir. He informed the students about the Young India Fellowship along with his personal experiences as Young India fellow.

Mr Asif Khan, Coordinator of Department of Convergent Journalism, conducted the session. The interaction lasted for more than an hour during which the guest answered the queries from students about the fellowship.
Students were also informed about the procedure and format of the fellowship and told about the profile of different visiting professors/faculty to the University like Dr. Mihir Shah- who teaches political economy to the students at Ashoka besides guest speakers at the fellowship of the like of Dr. Madeline Albright and Dr. Ram Guha. Mr. Karan Bhola also talked about various courses being taught in one year of fellowship besides
“The Valley based students have a good potential and they can prove their mettle if given a proper opportunity,” he said.
He added that fellowship programs enrich the abilities of students, which helps them in achieving a good position in their lives.
