2 CUK scholars awarded M.Phil
Srinagar, June 23: The Central University of Kashmir (CUK) has awarded M. Phil degrees to two of its first registered scholars pursuing integrated Ph.D in English.
The scholars, Ms Wasia daughter of Mr. Mushtaq Ahmad Naqash and Saima Manzoor daughter of Manzoor Ahmad Shah, successfully completed their Phase-I of the integrated M.Phil/Ph.D programme under the supervision of Prof. M Aslam, Dean School of Languages. Ms Wasia completed her M.Phil in Poetry of Defiance: A comparative study of Lalleshwari (Lal Ded) and Meerabai while as Ms Saima Manzoor completed her M.Phil in Islamic Feminism and Orhan Pamuk: A study of select novels.
The Officiating Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Mehraj-ud-Din and Registrar, Prof M Afzal Zargar have felicitated the duo for achieving the feat.
