CUK’s workshop on Research Methodology concludes

Srinagar, Nov 20: The two-week workshop on Research Methodology, organized by the Department of Management Studies, Central University of Kashmir (CUK), culminated at Nowgam–I academic block of the varsity here on Monday. The workshop began on 6th of November, 2017.

Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Mehraj ud Din Mir, Jamia Millia Islamia, Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Talat Ahmad, Director Research and Development, Prof. Abdul Gani, Dean Department of Business Studies, Prof. S Fayyaz Ahmad, Head Department of Management Studies, Prof. Farooq Ahmad Shah, Dean Students Welfare, Dr. Fayaz Ahmad Nikka, Deans and Heads of different Schools and scholars were present on the occasion.

Addressing the valediction function, Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Mehraj-ud-Din Mir said the workshop would help the research scholars to implement the evolving research methodology techniques in their work. CUK VC said that he would very soon take feedback from every participant about the workshop.

Jamia Millia Islamia, Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Talat Ahmad said that research methodology keeps on evolving and a research scholar has to keep track of these developments. He also suggested scholars to write one good research paper than five bad papers.

Director Research and Development, Prof. Abdul Gani hailed the Department of Management Studies for organizing the workshop. He said the aim of the research scholar should be to convey the truth through his findings.

Head Department of Management Studies, Prof. Farooq Ahmad Shah briefed the dignitaries about the deliberations held during the workshop. He said the workshop included scholars from various departments and experts were invited from across the country. Prof. Shah mentioned that 49 sessions were held in these two weeks.

Senior Assistant Professor, Department of Management Studies, Dr. Mushtaq Ahmad, conducted the programme proceedings.
